Welcome to my website.

 

I am Michaela, the owner and Artisan behind Maine Coon Mayhem. This is a home-based studio business based in Perth, Western Australia.

 

My sweet Maine Coon, Autumn, was my inspiration to design "Maine Coon Mayhem" custom walking jackets, as I found it hard to find something secure and comfortable for her to walk in. I later found out many Maine Coon owners found that they had the same problem.

It was my goal to combine style, quality, security and comfort with ease of use and attention to detail.

 

In my quest for perfection and finding what went into making the most escape resistant walking jacket, I started researching many of the popular, leading brands. I spent endless hours reading through their customer feedback pages, noting down what their customers disliked the most.

Next, I created my own design, eliminating all of these valid customer complaints, such as the Velcro at the front of the jacket's neck that prevented cats bending their necks down to drink. Trouble doing up their jackets underneath their stomachs, fur getting caught in Velcro, being unable to wash the garment, mats under the armpits, etc.

Based on feedback from my own customers, I am confident that our hand made walking jackets are the best on the market for Maine Coon cats and other adult breeds. Our original design is our most escape resistant walking jacket within our growing range, great for when you are away from home.
