I’m Michaela, the passionate designer and artisan behind this home-based studio in Perth, Western Australia. What started as a personal quest to find the perfect walking jacket for my sweet Maine Coon, Autumn, has blossomed into a mission to create functional, stylish, and escape-resistant gear for cats everywhere.

Like many Maine Coon owners, I struggled to find a walking jacket that was both secure and comfortable for Autumn. Determined to solve this problem, I set out to design something better. I spent countless hours researching leading brands, analyzing customer feedback, and identifying common pain points—like uncomfortable Velcro, restricted movement, and hard-to-use designs.
With these insights, I created a custom walking jacket that eliminates these frustrations. My designs prioritize style, quality, security, and comfort, all while ensuring ease of use and attention to detail. From eliminating neck Velcro that prevents cats from drinking to designing jackets that are easy to put on and wash, every detail is crafted with your cat’s well-being in mind.

Today, I’m proud to say that our handmade walking jackets are trusted by Maine Coon owners and other cat lovers worldwide. Our original design remains our most escape-resistant option, perfect for adventures away from home. And due to popular demand, we now offer an optional sister brand label, "Kitty Katz Kouture," for those seeking a touch of extra flair on their custom-made products—perfect for cats who aren’t Maine Coons but still deserve the same level of style and comfort.
